Performance
Thermco
Foam Insulation is one of the best insulating
materials available, delivering an R value of
4.7 per inch of material. The fact that the
foam is pumped in under pressure means that
it completely fills all crevices and voids that
occur inside a wall. These include plumbing,
electrical conduit, masonry ties and mortar
protrusions. It will not settle or become hung
up on such obstacles. Thermco foam exhibits
linear shrinkage of slightly less than 2% after
it cures (1/32 of an inch per 2 inch cavity),
allowing for moisture movement but virtually
eliminating air movement. It will not run out
when holes are drilled in the wall for additional
finish work, retrofitting or repair.
Sound
Deadening
While
all insulation helps reduce the infiltration
of outside noise, Thermco Foam out performs
other types of insulation because of its ability
to completely fill and seal a cavity. The product
is often used inside masonry walls strictly
for sound reduction such as in apartments or
townhouse adjoining walls.
Rapid
Pay Back
Because
of its high efficiency and low cost of installation,
the product often pays for itself (via reducing
heating and/or cooling costs) within 2 to 3
years. This period will vary depending upon
climate, local energy costs, and location.
Easier
on Contractors
Bagged
insulation needs to be poured in by laborers
either during or after a day's work, causing
disruption and generating debris including broken
bags. Thermco Foam Insulation is installed by
a third party after masonry work is completed,
resulting in no delays or disruption.

From
residential walls to 50-story projects, Thermco
Foam is ideally suited to almost any masonry
insulation need.
