CANINE COMPANIONS

Southern Foam Insulation (SFI) recently partnered with Canine Companions, a nonprofit providing service dogs to those with disabilities. By enhancing the facility’s energy efficiency, SFI helped reduce operational costs, allowing more resources to be dedicated to dog training. This project highlights SFI’s dedication to supporting the community and improving lives through their work.

FIRE STATION OVIEDO

Fire Station #46 in Oviedo, Florida, struggled with excessive heat in their truck bay, making the space uncomfortable and energy-inefficient. To combat the hot Florida summers and reduce the strain on their cooling systems, Southern Foam Insulation (SFI) installed closed-cell foam insulation with a thermal barrier, providing an energy-efficient solution to maintain a cooler environment.

TANK REMEDIATION

Southern Foam Insulation (SFI) was contracted by a Florida industrial facility to address thermal inefficiency and corrosion in their large storage tanks. Exposure to harsh conditions had caused rust buildup and operational inefficiencies. SFI provided a full tank remediation with thermal insulation to extend the tanks’ lifespan and enhance their performance.
